Whenever I see strawman comics, where we’ve got the calm, supposedly-rational artist self-insert and the frothing, angry, stereotypical-in-every-way opposition, everything else gets filtered out and this is all I see:

In case it wasn’t clear:

Don’t mock younger viewers. Don’t make fun of them because they like something you deem bad. You are just being the shitty older brother or uncle that made fun of you when you were into Dragon Ball Z or Pokemon season 1.

Don’t be the shitty older brother or uncle.

Feeling absolutely nothing when Mami dies in Madoka Magica and not understanding how the fandom formed such an emotional attatchment to her in 3 measly episodes.

"How dare fans like a character."

Cops have been put on notice: Let the cameras roll.

Camera-shy cops across the city were reminded they can’t legally take action to stop someone from filming them while they’re on the beat, the Daily News has learned. The refresher was provided in a memo the chief of department’s office distributed to all police commands Wednesday.

“Members of the public are legally allowed to record police interactions,” the memo states. “Intentional interference such as blocking or obstructing cameras or ordering the person to cease constitutes censorship and also violates the First Amendment.”

Cops can take action if videographers and shutterbugs “interfere with police operations,” the memo notes.

Bought a Hot ShotxRed Alert doujinshi off the Internet because of course I did. They regrettably only straddle and smooch. (While Side Swipe watches.)

According to the last page of the book, the artist seems to have once had a Twitter account at @osame_120, but that url 404s now. Dang.

And in the nature of keeping everyone in the loop, please reblog this link if you’re going to spread word about it. It’s just a list, impartial, a great way to know everything from start to current events.
